Yucky.com	This site claims to be the grossest site on the internet. With information about all kinds of disgusting critters from roaches to worms; they may be right. A bit of a warning though, this site requires that you download a program to help you view the animation and the sounds on the site, so if you don't have a newer computer, ask your parents to help you out!
Mysteriesof the World!	All the mysteries of the world are revealed here at this site: learn about the Lost City of Atlantis, discover the mysteries behind UFO's, finally understand what it means to be Psychic. This site is a lot of fun, so check it out.
The Illustrated Mythology Encyclopedia	This is a really cool site with great pictures of all the Greek and Roman Gods. This is a wonderful place to help with reports!
The History Channel.com	This site needs no real explanation, but if you like History, there really is no better site. It is great to help with Social Studies homework.
Yahooligans	As usual, there really is no better place to find what you want on the internet than Yahooligans. It takes kids right to sites that they can understandand that are made for them.

The All-Purpose Parent Site	Parents... This is a great site to help you get involved in your child's education. It contains everything from parent resources, ideas for for fun and educational things to do at home (arts and crafts, outdoor games, and other fun home activities), information on home schooling, homework help, and even tips on how to get your creative student published on the web. This site is created by the Houghton Mifflin Company, a reputable textbook manufacturer.
Internet Guide for Parents	Need to help your child find something on the internet and don't know how to go about it? Are you worried about your child surfing around the internet when you really don't know what they might run into? This site helps bring the family to the internet so that it is safe, fun, and informative.
The American Library Association's Parent Page	This page is great for a list of sites for parents and kids. It's a good way to get familiar with what's out there for kids and parents alike.
Parents Page is a greatsites	This link goes to another page within that site, and it is full of links for parents. They are all sites approved by the ALA, so you know they are good.
Parents Magazine	This is home page for the magazine's site. If you have read the magazine, the site is just as good. If you haven't read the magazine, check out the site, whether your child is 2 or 13, its a great resource for parents.
Parents and Children Together	This is an online magazine for parents and children that looks very informative. Topics range from literacy, motivating students, book reviews, stories from children, and links to other sites. The project is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
